As an inaugural festival, we are brimming with great local people, good will, expertise, energy and enthusiasm to put on a great festival. However, all events cost money no matter how much good will there is!

All funds raised go towards essential costs such as paying the presenters - authors, illustrators, poets, playwrights and artists who deliver workshops and activities at the festival - as well as ensuring the festival venues and amenities are suitable for the event so that everyone has a fantastic time.

Financial sustainability is important as it will help to cement the Festival as an annual cultural and literary event in Central Victoria to encourages and inspires the next generation of storytellers to work with industry professionals to develop their craft.
